Tokyo Blue is the crowning jewel to the ongoing renovations that have been going on since I bought the historic beach hotel in 2003 (Ocean Manor Beach Resort). Indeed it is unique, masterful and provides intrinsic allures unmatched for miles and miles. Located directly on the scenic beach shores of the Galt Ocean Mile between Oakland Park Boulevard and Commercial Blvd.

Since its summer of 2009 opening--Tokyo Blue has become become a distinguished destination on the culinary scene in South Florida. The area's finest food writers have bestowed great praise and awards to the inviting social locale helping elevate the establishment among the most popular too.

Entry point is through the south side of the revamped hotel lobby. There a 1200 gallon aquarium built within the wall of the restaurant and lobby greets you with some interesting swimmers navigating the great divide between the trendy high-ceiling reception area and the striking restaurant.

Immediately recognizable upon opening the doors is the establishments vibrant design scheme. Illuminating LED glass columns with sleek gleaming soft lit hues glisten throughout the chic setting. The incandescent structures blend harmoniously with the polished glossy blue concrete floors. Black carbon fiber chairs and black tables are spaced comfortably apart within the room contours that is unquestionably well thought out. For many this will be as much an attraction as the food. Once passing a discriminating test to make their way on the shelves here--they can only dock for a day to assure an elevated esteem of customer satisfaction. Knowing none of the items are allowed to be overnight guest assures all of us that the highest natural flavors will resonate.

Besides this masterful kitchen assemblage, the bountiful menu of fine Asian accented food offerings also keeps a modest price range within these walls of luxury. Here you can engage in numerous healthy choices including vegetarian servings.

Furthermore, you won't feel left out-to-sea if Asian food is not your cup of tea.
